Hello! We’re so glad you found us.

We started this shop because we believe that nature shouldn’t be something you have to travel miles to see, it should be right outside your back door. Whether you have a large garden or a tiny pond in a pot, you have the power to make a real difference to the world around you. 

We want to help you do that with confidence.

Why shop with us?

We know that starting a wildlife garden or a pond can feel a bit overwhelming. There is a lot of advice out there, and it’s hard to know what actually helps. We’ve kept things simple by doing the thinking for you:

• Grown in the UK: Every single plant on our website is grown right here in the UK. This means they are suited to our climate and haven’t traveled thousands of miles to get to you.
• Always Native Pond Plants: We are very passionate about our waterways. All of our pond plants are native species, making them the best possible choice for local wildlife.
• Thoughtful Products: We don’t just stock everything; we stock the right things. From the soil to the planting baskets, we choose products that are useful, look great, and truly serve a purpose for the creatures visiting your garden.
• More Products Coming Soon: We are sourcing more products to stock that look great and are habitat focussed. We want to make sure the items are something we’d have in our own gardens and make a difference to wildlife. Stay tuned! 

Who we are

There are two of us behind this project, and we’ve spent our lives working with the natural world in different ways.

One of us comes from a background in “boots-on-the-ground” conservation, spending years managing everything from wetlands to woodlands, and capturing those stories through wildlife filmmaking. The other is focused on sustainability and the way nature helps us feel better, working with communities and charities to improve human wellbeing through green spaces.

Even now, you’ll usually find us out in the community – digging in local parks, helping at schools, or working in gardens to make them a bit more “wild.” This shop is our way of taking everything we’ve learned in the field and bringing it to your doorstep. Alongside our shop, we’ll be updating the blog with useful tips and articles to keep things moving throughout the seasons.

We want you to love your garden as much as the wildlife does. We’ll be writing regular blog articles to share our knowledge, and we are always happy to chat.

If you have a simple question, just send us a message – we’re happy to help for free. If you’re looking for a bit more guidance, like a full list of the best plants for your specific pond, we offer a personal advice service for a small fee to make sure you get off to the best start.

At the end of the day, we just want to help our green spaces become a little wilder, a little brighter, and a lot better for the planet.
